NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR’S TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM An application concerning the employment of one or more alien workers for the following temporary position will be filed with the Department of Labor. This Notice of Filing will be posted for fifteen (15) consecutive business days. Name of Employer: Drippin’ Irrigation Position Title: Irrigation Technician (1) Position Duties: Drippin’ Irrigation, located in Wimberley, Texas, phone: (512) 690-1730 or email: drippinirrigation@gmail.com, is seeking one Irrigation Technician to work in and around the Wimberley, Texas area. This is a temporary, full-time seasonal position lasting from April 1, 2021 to November 19, 2021. Irrigation Technician will run installation of new systems and expansions. Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain automatic irrigation systems. Perform maintenance checks for clients. Provide estimates for new systems/expansions/re-builds after new construction. Maintain, clean, and keep truck, tools, and materials organized. Accurately track mileage, time, and parts used. Set and maintain times on controllers. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems. Map systems for master plans. Operate trencher and rock saw for new installs. Communicate efficiently with homeowners. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures. Ensure company truck, uniform, and personal appearance are clean and professional. Supervise two subordinate employees. Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: Must have a minimum of six (6) months of experience as an Irrigation Technician; on-the-job training will also be provided to the worker. Must have an Irrigation Technician License issued by TCEQ. Supervisory experience is preferred, but not required. Fluency in both Spanish and English is preferred, but not required. Location of Employment (Street Address): 1101 Days End Rd, Wimberley, TX, 78676 Terms & Conditions of Employment: $14.63/hr, at least 40 hrs/wk, Mon-Fri, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The pay period is every two weeks. The employer will make all payroll deductions required by law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law. The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. The employer will provide workers, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, & equipment required to perform the job. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging), to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half of the employment period. Employer agrees to reimburse inbound transportation and subsistence expenses (subsistence is $12.68 per day minimum, without receipts, to a maximum of $55 per day, with receipts) from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
